Plateau Ecological LLC is a natural resources consulting firm specializing in surveys for bats, including the federally endangered Indiana bat and gray bat and threatened northern long-eared bat, as well as small mammal surveys, breeding bird surveys and herpetofaunal surveys.

The 2020-2021 summer survey guidance for Indiana bats (found here) is now in effect. These guidelines establish the amount of effort required to determine presence or likely absence of Indiana bats or northern long-eared bats. We are fully prepared and equipped to satisfy the protocol with netting capability and with acoustic monitoring equipment ready to deploy and experience with the analysis and interpretation of acoustic data!
